A good start is to look for a belt that is made from Full Grain Leather or Top Grain Leather, predictably, these are the most expensive, but they are also the most durable and long lasting. You could also opt for a split leather, but try and avoid ‘leather lines’ or ‘leather coated’ belts, these may look great when you buy them, but will eventually disappoint.
